Friday 23rd of October is "Think Pink Day". We are raising awareness and funds to support the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF).
Key information about the day
Students are encouraged to wear pink. Pink hats, glasses, accessories, and costumes are welcome (school appropriate). If students don’t want to wear pink, they should wear their school uniform.
There will be a Perfectly Pink Homeroom Competition for the homerooms with the most amazing pink costumes! Winning classes will get a prize and a photo shoot.
We will start the day with a class photo. In previous years we have had a whole school photo. Due to social distancing measures, this year we will take class photos.
Students are encouraged to bring a $2 donation for the Breast Cancer Foundation to their homerooms in the morning.
Secondary Years students have been making greeting cards to send to breast cancer patients and will be writing messages in these cards on the day.
There will be Breast Cancer Foundation pins and donation boxes at the Primary and Secondary Years offices and the front desk.
There will be Think Pink cupcakes available to order through the pre-order canteen system with proceeds going to BCF.
There is an excellent team of students working on awareness campaigns to share with other students on the day.
Please help your children by reminding them to wear pink and bring their donation on Friday, 23 October.
Many thanks for your support!
