Singapore National Age Group (SNAG) Swimming Championships
At the end of last month, we had a group of swimmers compete for the first time in the SNAG Championships at the OCBC National Swimming Centre. This is recognised as the most important swimming meet held in Singapore and our team proudly represented our school achieving impressive personal best times for all.
We are sure this will be the start for GEMS (Singapore) having many swimmers qualifying for this event each year from now on.

International Rugby Stars Visiting GEMS (Singapore)
Last week we were honoured to have New Zealand Black Ferns women's rugby players and world champions Portia Woodman and Renee Wickliffe visit us at GEMS (Singapore). Both Portia and Renee have spent the time with our Senior Years girls sharing their stories and how they made it to the top. They also encouraged our team to stay involved in sports throughout their teenage years and beyond.
Portia and Renee conducted a two-day coaching clinic for the GEMS Rugby 7s Academy. The team had a unique opportunity to be trained by world champions and go through elite level training. The training was focused on skill acquisition, gameplay decision making and fitness. A valuable experience for the boys to continue their growth and development.
