Book Week is all about celebrating books and connecting people through stories.

Join us for the 1st ever Virtual Book Week celebrations from 27 to 30 April! There are a lot of activities that will help your child develop a love of books, storytelling and reading. 

DEAR TIME! Drop Everything And Read 

We encourage you to find time every day to drop what you are doing and pick up a book, instead! Take a photo of you reading and send it to us.

Re-create Your Favourite Book Cover

Use your creativity and bring books to life by recreating your favourite book covers. Here are a few samples to get the party started!

Book Cover Door Decorations

Make your passion for reading visual with some fun reading themed door decorations! Take a photo of your creation and send it to us.

Don’t know where to start?

Choose your favourite book and design a cover for one of the doors in your house. Or go for designs inspired by the theme of our Book Week “Connected Through Books”.

Family Fort Night

Have you ever wanted to create a hideaway spot at home? Now's your chance! The whole family is invited to build a fort at home and read together. Take some photos of you reading together and send them to us.

Cookbook Challenge

Cookbooks are also books! Read a few recipes and cook anything you like. Share your recipes and photos with us!
