High School Diploma
Preparing students for life after school
Students who meet the graduation requirements will receive the GEMS (Singapore) High School Diploma, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). High School Diploma students have a great deal of flexibility when deciding on their selection of courses. They can also select fewer subjects at a higher level than the three demanded by the DP. In addition, they have an opportunity to choose courses of study that specialise in particular areas of interest.
High School Diploma students begin accumulating credits in Grade 9 and continue until the end of Grade 12. A minimum of 21 credits, and meeting specific criteria, are required to gain the High School Diploma.
