Do you have a vacancy for this Academic Year (2020-2021)?
We have a limited number of spaces for new students. We are currently accepting applications for Semester 2 (January – June) until 23rd November 2020.
Do you have a vacancy for the upcoming Academic Year 2021-2022?
Yes, you can submit an application for the upcoming academic year now.

What are the entry requirements?
Our admissions is based on age, review of information given on the application form, current and previous year school reports, English language proficiency level, references from the current school (if applicable), and family meetings (if applicable).

What are the joining fees?
The Registration Fee is SGD$800 (non-refundable) and is payable in full upon submission of your application, in order for it to be processed.
The Admission Fee will become due upon completion of the application process. This is a one-time, non-refundable and non-transferable fee of SGD 5,200 and must be paid on or before the due date for the payment as stipulated on the invoice.
What are the tuition fees?

Do you offer English language support?
With students joining the school from all over the world, our English as an Additional Language (EAL) Programme provides outstanding language teaching and learning opportunities, to ensure that all our students are equipped with the necessary language tools to enable them to make the most of their time here at GEMS (Singapore).

Is the EAL program chargeable?
The cost of the Enhanced EAL Program for students from Grade 1 through to Grade 8 is not included in the tuition fees and will be charged separately per semester. The school will send a separate invoice for the EAL fees.
The cost of the Standard EAL Program for students from Grade 9 & 10 is included in the tuition fees.
Do you offer any sibling discounts/concessions?
As an international school in Singapore, we offer attractive sibling discounts to families with multiple children. Each child registering at GEMS (Singapore) who is a sibling (brother or sister by birth or adoption) of another child ("Previous Sibling") who is enrolled at GEMS (Singapore) will enjoy the following benefits:
- the 1st sibling (second child in the family) will receive a 10% concession off their annual tuition fee
- the 2nd sibling (third child in the family) will also receive a 10% concession off their annual tuition fees
- the 3rd and any additional siblings (fourth child and subsequent children in the family) will receive a 25% concession off their annual tuition fee
- in addition, any newly enrolled siblings (brother or sister by birth or adoption) of any child already enrolled at GEMS (Singapore) will receive a Registration Fee Credit (SGD $800), and Admission Fee Waiver (SGD $5,200).
- The above fees are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax of seven percent (7%).
When a family registers siblings at the same time, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc siblings will be determined by descending age order at the time of registration at GEMS (Singapore).
When a family registers siblings at different times through an academic year or in consecutive academic years, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc siblings will be determined by the date of each sibling’s registration at GEMS (Singapore).
Important note: Should your child be awarded a scholarship or any other concession on fees, sibling discounts will no longer apply.
Do you offer any discounts for students transferring from other international schools in Singapore?
Yes, we do! Each child registering at GEMS (Singapore) who is or was previously enrolled at any GEMS-owned school or GEMS-owned kindergarten worldwide will enjoy the following:
- a Registration Fee Credit (SGD $800)
- an Admission Fee Waiver (SGD $5,200)
- subsequent children of the same family are entitled to the Sibling Discount/Waiver herein
The parent(s) will be required to submit proof of current/prior enrollment at any GEMS-owned school or GEMS-owned kindergarten to the Admissions Team upon submission of an online application for admission to GEMS (Singapore).
To avail this discount, the applicant must have been enrolled at any GEMS-owned school or GEMS-owned kindergarten during (no earlier than) the Academic Year (full or part of) prior to the date of registration at GEMS (Singapore).
Important note: The discount is not applicable for applicants transferring to GEMS World Academy (Singapore) from GEMS-managed and GEMS-affiliated schools/kindergartens not owned by GEMS.
Do you offer scholarships?
GEMS (Singapore) is committed to recognising and supporting student excellence. We offer full and partial tuition scholarships (reviewed annually), for students who display outstanding ability and attitude across a range of disciplines.

Do you have a school bus?
Our campus is located in a nice residential neighborhood, surrounded by lush greenery and nature.
GEMS (Singapore) contracts an external bus service to transport students to and from school daily. Click here to find out more about our transportation services.
Can I arrange meals for my child?
Healthy and balanced nutrition plays a significant role in a student's ability to achieve in school. Therefore, we educate and encourage our students to develop lifelong healthy eating habits.

Does my child have to wear a school uniform?
All students are expected to wear a school uniform. It is available for online purchase with the choice of collecting your order from our campus or having it delivered to your doorstep.
Black school shoes are mandatory for all students. These can be leather or sports shoes as long as they are predominantly black and logos should not be prominent. Click here to find out more information about the uniform.
