Parent Teacher Community Committee Update
WHERE TO FIND US
13 October, 2017
As the GEMS (Singapore) Parent Teacher Community committee, we have a lot of exciting things in store. We are actively working towards an open line of communication between parents and the school. If you wish to share with us your suggestions or ideas, no matter how small, contact us via email to the GEMS (Singapore) PTC executive committee firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also send us your feedback by clicking this link PTC Executive Committee FeedBack Form.
Should you have any comments or ideas related to specific activities or events (such as UN, bus service, school safety, uniform, canteen or ELP), please feel free to send us an email to the GEMS (Singapore) PTC subcommittees representatives email@example.com or click this link to send us your feedback PTC Feedback Form.
Please join us on GEMS PTC Singapore Facebook – a useful forum not just for PTC and school updates, but also a place where you can share photos taken during sporting or school related events – so our whole community can enjoy them! It’s a closed group so you can be assured of it’s privacy.
Last year, we also created the GEMS PTC Classified Facebook – the site for our community to buy and sell in a safe and friendly environment.
Do note that there is no “official” GEMS PTC WhatsApp group. If you wish to obtain answers to your questions or would like your ideas and feedback to be heard by us or the School, please contact us via email or Facebook – we would love to hear from you!
Please join us for the Coffee and Catch Up Session on 3 November 2017 (Friday), 9am at the Parent Room / Parent Cafe. It will be a great opportunity to get to know each other and to hear all the updates. We hope to see you there.
We invite you to support our PTC bake sale at the Think Pink event on 25 October 2017 (Wednesday). If you would like to donate food or drinks to support this cause, please use this link http://www.signupgenius.com/go/508054aa4ab2ba6f49-bakesale to sign up. We will start the morning with a school-wide photo shoot at 9am on the sportsfield followed by a talk in the auditorium and then an opportunity to shop and eat at a vendor fair. 20% of sales will be donated to the Breast Cancer foundation and 80% will form a PTC annual fund that will support future school events.
We are all stakeholders in making GEMS (Singapore) a greater success and we look forward to your involvement in supporting our community.
